The candidate for this role will provide data support for business objectives and client interactions. Specifically, this role will focus on: writing and running advanced SQL queries to mine and compare data across databases; analyze data to write specifications for the implementation and maintenance of State, Federal, and Usual & Customary Fee Schedules; coordinate data implementations with department colleagues and other internal Teams; research and resolve data issues; model and map data sets to system databases; reviewing, communicating and reporting data changes; maintaining data repositories; collaborating on data requirements; documenting data maintenance processes; and advances internal data initiatives.


Job Responsibilities
  • Develop specifications and implement data updates in accordance with established standards and business requirements.
  • Write and execute advanced SQL queries to analyze, validate, and reconcile data across multiple databases.
  • Perform post-load and post-production validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Monitor, analyze, and maintain fee schedule data, including Workers' Compensation, Medicare, and Auto PIP fee schedules across all U.S. jurisdictions.
  • Track and manage data changes throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Review, summarize, and communicate data changes, enhancements, and implementation outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Produce and distribute recurring data reports and change notifications to internal teams and management.
  • Maintain data repositories, data mappings, and supporting documentation.
  • Analyze fee schedule and related data to support organizational products, services, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure approved compliance data is accurately deployed to client-facing applications and systems.
  • Monitor and report data trends, defects, and issues affecting accuracy, quality, or system functionality.
  • Document data maintenance processes, procedures, and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Technology, Product, and Operations teams on data requirements, enhancements, and defect resolution.
  • Interpret business and regulatory requirements to define data inclusions, exclusions, and gaps.
  • Review, submit, and approve data work items for compliance with departmental standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data quality, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Relevant certifications in SQL, data analytics, database management, or business analysis are preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, views, stored procedures, and data validation techniques.
  • Intermediate experience in Python and Visual Studio Code.
  • Experience mining, analyzing, comparing, and reconciling data across multiple databases.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, data mapping, and database structures.
  • Experience conducting data validation, quality assurance, and post-production testing activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience maintaining data repositories, data dictionaries, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with data reporting and business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of change management and data deployment processes.
Analytical Skills
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and problem resolution.
  • Ability to identify data anomalies, trends, and inconsistencies.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to interpret complex business and regulatory requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
