ABOUT THE ROLE
Axtria is seeking a Business Analyst to support the growth of its AI & Data practice, with a focus on GenAI-powered solutions for pharma and life sciences clients in Japan and the broader APAC region. - Engage directly with senior client stakeholders (VP / C-suite level) in Japanese and English to understand business needs, present GenAI use cases, and drive alignment on AI & data initiatives.
- Document requirements, process flows, and data needs for AI solutions built on ChatGPT Enterprise, Copilot Studio, or AWS Bedrock — depending on client platform.
- Develop business cases, capability roadmaps, and executive-level presentations for GenAI programs within pharma commercial, R&D, and operations functions.
- Act as the primary liaison between onsite client teams in Japan and Axtria's offshore delivery centres — ensuring clarity, quality, and on-time execution.
- Support scoping, acceptance criteria definition, and UAT for AI product features, Copilot Studio assistants, and data solution releases.
- Support ChatGPT Enterprise and Copilot Studio rollouts — including change management, user adoption planning, and governance framework alignment.
- Track program milestones, risks, and escalations; prepare structured status reports and executive dashboards for senior stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and landscape analysis on GenAI adoption trends relevant to pharma and life sciences.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, or program coordination in a technology or data-driven environment.
- Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2 or above) and professional English proficiency.
Practical understanding of GenAI technologies: LLMs, ChatGPT Enterprise, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, and responsible AI.
- Working familiarity with at least one of: Microsoft Copilot Studio, ChatGPT Enterprise, or AWS Bedrock — able to discuss use cases, capabilities, and limitations with technical teams and clients.
- Proven ability to engage, communicate, and build trust with senior stakeholders across cultures and geographies.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in an onsite/offshore delivery model across time zones.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and project tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.

- Domain knowledge in pharma — commercial operations, sales force analytics, R&D, or medical affairs — is a strong advantage.
- Experience supporting ChatGPT Enterprise or Copilot Studio rollouts, including change management and user adoption.
- Familiarity with AWS data services, Power Platform, or Axtria's AI product suite.
- Experience with agile / scrum delivery methodologies and sprint-based project cadences.
