This role is being offered on a part time basis, 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday. You will be based from Holme Hall Offices, with a balance of home working. You will report directly to the Business Administration Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to commercial and business development teams.
- Provide after sales support and resolve customer queries in a timely and effective fashion – triage queries, complaints & claims and where possible resolve.
- Support Customer Service and Transport teams to maintain accurate and visible customer and driver records, e.g. provide PODs and add additional payments to tickets for correct payments.
- Manage and approve Haulier payments and queries ensuring accuracy of haulage times and distances.
- Escalate repeating inaccuracies in system data to the relevant data owner for permanent resolution.
- Ensure compliance to company policies and identify / mitigate any risk to it
- Assist in supporting other customer service roles with tasks identified during busy periods and to cover annual leave (as directed by the Customer Service Manager)
- Conduct general administration tasks such as data input and analysis.
- Daily checking of Podfather to make sure customer charges and driver payments are right first time.
- Raising purchase orders as requested by site staff and the processing of supplier invoices in Findocs including resolving any queries in a timely manner
- Supporting payroll by processing the monthly overtime sheets for site staff.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Strong office-based skill set including MS package
- Proven experience in data analysis
