Salary
The typical annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 USD to $96,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.
Responsibilities- Examine budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations
- Analyze budgeting and accounting reports
- 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informal
- Ability to perform all functional duties independently, self-starter
- Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of FMS financial policies and procedures is required
Desired Experience:
- 2 years’ experience within Department of the Navy (DoN)
- Financial management experience should include financial analysis of business programs including:
- Development of cost estimates, program status reports
- Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) Financial Management Regulations (FMR)
- Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Planning, Program, Budgeting, Execution (PPBE) process
- 2 years’ experience with DoN procurement policies and procedures
- Experience with:
- Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case documents
- Obligation and expenditure phasing plans
- Experience in:
- Navy Enterprise Resources Planning (NERP)
- Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS)
- Management Information System for International Logistics (MISIL)
- Other DoN financial automated accounting & budgeting systems
EDUCATION
Degree: BA/BS degree.
Allowable Substitution: Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree or Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
CLEARANCE
Condition of Employment: Applicant must have an active DoD Secret Clearance. The applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
