About the Role
As a Brand Strategist at Takt, you’ll help clients define who they are and how they show up in the world. You’ll lead brand development and campaign strategy, collaborating with creative, digital, and strategy teams to build positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that resonate.
This role is a mix of research-driven strategy,
creative storytelling, and hands-on execution. You’ll craft brand narratives, develop positioning frameworks, and shape campaigns that bridge creativity with business objectives. You’ll also facilitate workshops, guide clients through complex brand challenges, and ensure their brand experience is seamless across every touchpoint.
What You’ll Do
- Build brands—from the ground up or refining and evolving existing identities.
- Develop strategic brand frameworks, including positioning, messaging hierarchies, tone and voice, and audience segmentation.
- Craft go-to-market strategies for both B2B and B2C brands, aligning competitive insights with audience needs.
- Shape brand campaigns that tell a compelling story—across digital, social, and traditional media.
- Conduct research—stakeholder interviews, competitor audits, and market trend analysis—to inform strategy.
- Lead and co-facilitate workshops, helping clients define their purpose, values, and messaging.
- Collaborate with creative teams to bring brand narratives to life through design, content, and experience.
- Develop campaign messaging and storytelling frameworks for product launches, awareness campaigns, and customer engagement.
- Guide marketing teams in executing brand-led campaigns, ensuring consistency and impact.
- Present strategic recommendations with confidence, articulating insights and rationale clearly.
- Oversee execution, ensuring creative output aligns with brand positioning and business goals.
What You Bring
- 3-5+ years of experience in brand strategy, campaign strategy, or a related field (agency experience preferred).
- A deep understanding of brand positioning, messaging strategy, and campaign development across both B2B and B2C.
- Experience crafting brand identity strategies and campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
- Strong facilitation skills, with experience leading brand workshops and uncovering actionable insights.
- Confidence in presenting and defending ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- A strategic yet creative mindset—balancing analytical thinking with audience intuition.
- Experience working across various industries, with the ability to dive into new categories quickly.
- A collaborative approach, working cross-functionally with designers, marketers, and strategists.
- A proactive, adaptable attitude, thriving in fast-paced, high-output environments.
- An innate curiosity and drive for continuous learning.
Bonus Skills
- Experience in integrated campaign strategy and multi-channel marketing execution.
- Familiarity with SEO, content strategy, and performance marketing.
- Knowledge of UX and digital experience strategy.
- Experience in brand activation, advertising, or content marketing.
- Strong workshop facilitation skills, particularly with executive-level stakeholders.
Compensation
$70,000 - $90,000 annually (based on experience).
