Hypebeast are looking for a commercially driven and culturally fluent Brand Partnerships Director to join our team in Seoul.

This is a senior individual contributor role focused on driving business growth through 360° creative partnership solutions — far beyond traditional media sales. You will work closely with leading brands across fashion, beauty, retail, and lifestyle, offering integrated campaign solutions that include branded content, creative production, influencer strategy, and experiential activations.

You’ll represent Hypebeast, one of the world’s leading cultural media platforms, and Hypemaker, a global full-service creative agency that helps brands tell stories that resonate with today's generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & New Business - Proactively identify and develop new client opportunities with top Korean brands and agencies, particularly in fashion, retail, beauty, and lifestyle.
  • 360° Creative Sales - Sell full-service creative partnerships — including strategy, branded content, influencer activations, social and digital media, events, and production.
  • Sales Ownership - Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, pitch development, proposal writing, negotiation, and deal closing.
  • Client Relationship Building - Maintain and grow relationships with senior-level stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor and cultural consultant.
  • Internal Collaboration - Work closely with Creative, Strategy, and Client Servicing teams to shape and deliver campaigns that are insight-driven, relevant, and high impact.
  • Market & Cultural Intelligence - Stay ahead of market trends, client needs, cultural shifts, and competitor movements to identify new opportunities and sharpen your strategic approach.
  • Brand Representation - Act as the face of Hypebeast and Hypemaker in the Korean market — representing our unique capabilities in meetings, industry events, and the wider client community.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in brand partnerships, creative sales, or media/agency business development.
  • Fluent in Korean (written and spoken) and highly proficient in written English for reports, decks, and client communications. Spoken English is a plus.
  • Active and trusted network within Korea’s fashion, beauty, retail, and lifestyle industries.
  • Strong understanding of integrated campaign sales and content-driven marketing.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and managing high-level accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic storytelling skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, strong self-management, and a passion for cultural relevance.

  • 세일즈 프로세스 전반 관리 - 리드 확보부터 제안서 작성, 가격 협상, 계약 체결까지 모든 세일즈 사이클을 주도합니다.
  • 클라이언트 관계 구축 및 유지 - 브랜드 마케팅 담당자 및 의사결정자와의 신뢰를 바탕으로 장기적이고 전략적인 관계를 구축합니다.
  • 내부 팀과의 협업 - 크리에이티브, 전략, 제작, 클라이언트 서비스 팀과 긴밀히 협력하여 성공적인 캠페인을 기획하고 실행합니다.
  • 시장및문화인사이트확보 -시장동향, 고객요구, 디지털플랫폼트렌드, 경쟁사움직임등을주기적으로모니터링하며, 영업전략과제안서에반영합니다.
  • 브랜드 대외 대표 역할 - 한국 시장에서 Hypebeast와 Hypemaker의 브랜드 가치를 알리고, 클라이언트 미팅 및 업계 이벤트에 참여합니다.

자격 요건:

  • 관련 업계 경력 8년 이상 (미디어, 광고, 콘텐츠 마케팅, 에이전시 세일즈 등).
  • 한국어 구사 능력 필수 (말하기 및 쓰기 모두 유창해야 함).  영어 작문 능력 필수 (이메일, 제안서, 리포트 작성 가능 수준). 영어 회화 가능자는 우대.
  • 패션, 뷰티, 리테일, 라이프스타일 업계 네트워크 보유자.
  • 통합 캠페인 및 창의적인 세일즈 경험이 풍부한 분.
  • 제안서 및 피칭 능력 우수하며, C레벨 클라이언트와의 커뮤니케이션 경험 보유자.
  • 자기 주도적으로 업무를 이끌 수 있는 독립성과 글로벌 협업 환경에 대한 이해도.
  • 판매목표초과달성및고급계정관리에대한입증된실적.뛰어난의사소통, 프레젠테이션, 기업가정신,그리고디지털트렌드에대한높은관심.
