The Opportunity

As a Sales Account Executive (aka our Brand Partner) at MagicLinks, you are a vital member of our dynamic Brand Partnerships team. We may be small, but we work with many of the largest and most fascinating brands in the world (Walmart, Best Buy, Lululemon, and more). As the driving force behind company revenue, you bring experience in a quota-carrying sales role, coupled with a continuous learning mindset. You are adaptable, creative, and eager to accelerate our brand growth at MagicLinks.  

This role is a full-cycle sales role where you will prospect new business, manage pipelines, and close deals. We take pride in our work, take responsibility for our actions and results, believe in the strength of teamwork, and are excited to drive the future of social commerce together.

Location: Remote in select states including AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, IA, KS, MD, MA, MI, MN, MO, NY, NC, OH, OR, TN, TX

Key Responsibilities

As a full-cycle sales role, you will be expected to:

  • Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets
  • Develop an effective plan to generate leads and opportunities from your territory of named accounts, identifying and engaging brands for video-first influencer campaigns
  • Deliver accurate forecasts supported by a thorough understanding of your buyers and their process
  • Use field selling strategies to grow your pipeline and win business
  • Build strong relationships with key personnel at brands and business partners by demonstrating an expert understanding of their business and impact of influencer marketing 
  • Clearly articulate MagicLinks' unique value proposition through customized pitches, proposals, and presentation of our technology
  • Collaborate with our account management and creator partnership teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
  • Effectively utilize our CRM and suite of tools to collaborate, communicate, and deliver results
  • Bolster your expertise by staying abreast of industry trends, the challenges our customers face, and our competitive landscape

Background and Specific Skills

  • 3+ years demonstrated success in a quota-carrying sales role with a focus on new logo acquisition, preferably including selling services
  • Experience with full-cycle sales from pipeline management, lead gen to closing deals 
  • Creative and coachable 
  • Self-starter who is used to working on a scrappy team 
  • A results-oriented mindset who moves with urgency
  • Expertise in influencer marketing, social commerce, or related industries
  • Experienced selling into digital marketing teams, with an understanding of social commerce its leading platforms (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, and Tik Tok)
  • Proficient with the tools of the trade, including CRMs, sales execution platforms, and Google Suite
  • An exceptional partner and teammate who is humble, empathetic, accountable, resilient, curious, coachable, and collaborative
  • An excellent listener, presenter, and communicator both in writing and verbally
  • Comfortable in a start-up environment, requiring an owner’s mentality

  • Base Salary ($75,000 - $90,000) + Competitive Commission + Equity

Our salary ranges are determined by role and level of experience relevant to the job. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the range for the position across all U.S. locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
