About the Role

We are looking for a Brand and Visual Designer to up-level and execute our brand language and design, including our product illustrations, website, social media and other digital and offline presence.

You will own and elevate:

• Brand Identity Development – Define, maintain, and evolve the company’s visual identity to elevate the brand and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
• Product illustrations, animations and videos – Create engaging, clear and compelling illustrations, animations and graphics that show how Augment and its various products and features work. These custom visuals simplify complex ideas and add personality.
• Website Design – Own the website's visual design, aligning it with the brand and optimizing it for customer education and conversions. Make most changes directly in our CMS.
• Marketing Collateral Creation – Design engaging materials for campaigns, including content, ads, emails, and sales enablement assets.
• Event Branding – Create physical and digital assets for 3rd and 1st party events, conferences, and webinars.
• Creative Campaigns – Conceptualize and execute visual elements for high-education value marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with the product, design, marketing and developer relations teams.

The ideal candidate will have a self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and possess:

1. Strong track record leveraging external contributors and outsourcing (e.g. deep animation work, collateral development) via freelancers, small and medium-sized agencies
2. Website design skills: creating and maintaining websites that elevate a brand, inspire and inform customers. Knowledge of webflow / CSS / HTML a strong plus.
3. Product Illustration Experience: Portfolio of technical illustrations showing code, interfaces, and workflows accurately. Able to build simple animations.
4. Visual Storytelling: Excels at narrating product value visually, simplifying technical concepts through engaging designs.
5. Technical Design Tools and LLMs proficiency: Proficient in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Suite. Skilled in using AI tools for generating and enhancing images, animations, and videos efficiently.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Prioritization: Works with product, engineering, and marketing teams. Able to prioritize and manage their time in fast-paced environments.
7. Animation and Video Creation: Skilled in animations/videos showcasing software, smooth transitions, and engaging UI simulations.
