As a BPA Finance Controller supporting the Finance Team, you will be trusted to work on financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvement from our location in Puurs/Bornem.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to solve financial and operational challenges.
- Preparing and publishing timely financial statements and generating detailed reports to track process performance.
- Coordinating the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and reporting variances.
- Ensuring compliance with local, corporate government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Education: Master’s degree in business, economics, or a related field. A bachelor’s degree with relevant experience is also acceptable.
- Years of experience: Relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and process improvement.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in data analysis, spreadsheet software like Excel, and accounting software (preferably SAP). Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Behaviors: Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Language: Fluent in Dutch and English
