Job Family Group Description - Industrial Operations:
This Job Family Group combines jobs in different industrial processes relating to product development, raw material research, product engineering, production management and quality assurance.
Job Family Description - Product Research & Development:
Ensures the product evolution process from material and design to end product follows guidelines from the creative department.
Speciality Description - Product Development:
Meets collection development deadlines. Interprets and balances the needs of style distinctiveness and market indications with brand objectives. Coordinates development of prototypes and samples in collaboration with design, materials research, purchasing and patternmaking teams.

How you will contribute 

 

  • Oversee part of the Leather collection development within the Leather & Denim Product Development team. 

  • Follow up with every attributed style, coding all models, compiling the bill of materials and transfer of information to suppliers. 

  • Participate at handover of sketches from Design to Atelier or external suppliers. 

  • Collect information about changes, improvements during fittings and ensure to update technical sheets in PLM. 

  • Ensure that prototypes are delivered in time following our company quality standards. 

  • Update of PLM system (data entry, amendments, updates etc.). 

  • Be responsible of the correct handover to production of the garments 

  • Research special workmanships, embroideries and finishing when required 

 

Who you are 

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Development within the Luxury Fashion Industry, ideally with exposure to Leather.  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel 

  • Familiarity with Stealth and PLM systems is essential. 

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.  

  • Agile mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach. 

  • Effective in managing relationships with Design and Merchandising teams. 

  • Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
