We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting, financial recordkeeping, invoice processing, vendor payments, and general administrative needs within a growing aerospace manufacturing environment.

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, assisting with reconciliations, and helping ensure financial documentation is organized, complete, and available to the finance and leadership teams. The ideal candidate is dependable, accurate, organized, and comfortable handling sensitive financial information with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Process, enter, and track vendor invoices with a high level of accuracy, including invoice review, payment preparation, and vendor communication.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activity, including customer invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-up on outstanding balances as needed.
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records, including invoices, receipts, statements, purchase documentation, payment records, and related accounting files.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, vendor accounts, and other financial records as assigned.
  • Assist with expense tracking, purchase order documentation, month-end and year-end accounting activities, and general accounting support.
  • Research and resolve billing, invoice, vendor, payment, and account discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support audits, compliance documentation, internal financial reviews, finance team administration, and general office operations while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive company information.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting support, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
  • Professional communication skills and ability to work with vendors, employees, and internal teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or technical business environment.
  • Experience supporting accounts payable, vendor management, purchase orders, or invoice reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, accounting platforms, and financial reporting tools.
  • Comfortable working in a growing company where processes continue to evolve.
