Bookkeeper and Payroll Controller

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated Bookkeeper & Payroll Assistant to join our finance team, reporting directly to the Senior Bookkeeper.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping Support (AP & GL):

• Accounts Payable (AP) cycle: processing and recording vendor invoices (local and foreign currency).
• Preparation of payment runs and vendor payment files.
• Performing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations (multi-currency).
• Assisting with month-end close activities, general ledger analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Payroll & Administrative Support:

• Supporting the monthly payroll process for local employees.
• Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding procedures (including gathering payroll documentation).
• Assisting in preparing payroll-related reports and statutory submissions (Income Tax, National Insurance, MASAV).
• Addressing basic employee queries regarding payroll and attendance.

• Certified Bookkeeper (Type 2/3) and Certified Payroll Controller.
• 3+ years of proven experience in bookkeeping.
• High proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, functions).
• Good working level of English (written and spoken) to communicate with international vendors and team members.
• High attention to detail, strong numerical ability, excellent interpersonal skills, willingness to learn, ability to work with tight deadlines, and a team-player mindset.
