Current District of Columbia residents will receive priority and advanced preference for screening and interviews.
DESCRIPTION
The Board shall regulate the practice of psychology, the practice by psychology associates, and the practice of behavior analysis.
COMMISSION MEMBERSHIP
The board consists of 6 members:
- 4 shall be psychologists licensed in the District;
- 1 shall be a behavioral analyst licensed in the District; and
- 1 shall be a consumer member.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional members must have a minimum of three years' experience in practicing one or more of the professions or occupations regulated by the Board.
Consumer member(s) shall:
- Shall be residents of the District at the time of their appointments and while they are members of the Board
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Not be engaged in the regulated occupation or in training to become a professional in the field;
- Not have a household member who is engaged in the regulated occupation or is in training to become a professional in the field; and
- Not own, operate, or be employed in or have a household member who owns, operates, or is employed in a business which has as its primary purpose the sale of goods or services to regulated professionals or facilities.
The Board meets every other month.

What We Do
The Commemorative Works Committee acts in an advisory capacity to the Mayor and Council, developing criteria for commemorative works in public spaces and evaluating their social and cultural merit.
