We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer (Board Design) with up to 5 years of industry experience to join our Hardware Development team.
In this role, you will participate in the design, development, testing, and manufacturing support of advanced electronic boards for complex multidisciplinary defense systems.
Experience in the defense industry is a significant advantage.
What will you be doing?
- Design, develop and modify electronic boards throughout the product lifecycle.
- Perform board bring-up activities following development and initial manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and implement design improvements.
- Modify schematics and support PCB layout activities.
- Improve manufacturability and update production documentation.
- Support PCB manufacturers and assembly subcontractors to ensure compliance with IPC standards.
- Investigate manufacturing failures and provide engineering solutions.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Software, Firmware and System Engineering.
- Participate in design reviews (PDR, CDR).
- Prepare engineering documentation, test procedures and product verification documents.
- Support transition from development to production.
- B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering – Must
- Up to 5 years of professional experience in Hardware Board Design (excluding mandatory military service)
- Experience in analog board design and high-power power supply design – Must
- Hands-on experience performing board bring-up for digital boards and power supply boards – Must
- Experience editing schematics and supporting PCB layout – Must
- Experience preparing design reviews (PDR/CDR) – Must
- Experience writing ATP and POD documentation – Must
- Experience supporting PCB manufacturing and electronic board assembly
- Strong proficiency with OrCAD and Allegro
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Fluent Hebrew and English
