The BMS Integration Engineer is responsible for all data transfer to and from existing OEM BMS systems including: Analyzing existing BMS systems for possible integration paths, sourcing and implementing 3rd-party integration drivers, coordinating installation of Hank device, and ensure proper IT connectivity on sites remotely.Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing existing BMS systems for possible integration paths.
- Implementing 3rd-party integration drivers.
- Coordinating installation of Hank IoT Edge Device.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity with customers.
- Coordinate with Project Engineer and Onboarding Manager on integration timelines.
- Developing an end-to-end integration path with existing building automation systems.
- Certified in Tridium Niagara N4 to ensure connectivity and integration.
- Troubleshooting IT networks for proper communication.
- Remote coaching of installation of IoT Edge Devices with customers including all IT remote networking/setup.
Qualifications
- Certification and 5-years experience in Tridium Niagara N4
- Advanced knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) programming
- Advanced knowledge of Tridium Niagara N4
- Advanced knowledge of Bacnet RS-485 & IP Integrations
- Basic knowledge of IT Networking
- Basic knowledge of Linux OS
- Basic knowledge of Building Automation network hierarchies
Competencies
- Active participation in strategic virtual building engineering onboarding process
- Advanced system integrations with multiple BMS manufacturers
- Building Management System (BMS) navigation and VB engineering deployment
- Advanced Tridium Niagara N4 Driver Framework implementation
- Basic IT Networking concepts and troubleshooting tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic understanding of team and project management
- Ability to communicate openly with peers in different divisions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Eager to learn and always coachable
