Job Description

Do you want to work at Australia’s most effective agency, across some of the best and most award-winning accounts?

BMF have an amazing opportunity for an Account Manager to join our legendary team based in Pyrmont. This is a fast-paced role which requires commitment, energy and someone who’ll thrive under pressure. To be our next super star Account Manager you’ll need to have excellent communication skills, be highly organised and ready to make your mark!

In return you’ll join a large, supportive, fun, and encouraging team whilst working alongside some of Australia's most celebrated culture of talented creative and strategic thinkers.

  • Support the production team to ensure best-practice execution
  • Support and inspire the strategic development process
  • Have a considered/informed opinion throughout the entire marketing process
  • Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and how they may benefit BMF or your clients
  • Know the various expertise across the group and know when to engage them
  • Have a broad understanding of all communications channels
  • Taking an active role in new business pitches as required
  • Build and nurture exceptional relationships with your client stakeholders
  • Ensure we deliver brilliant basics at all times Contact Reports / WIP’s / budgets, / Agenda / Updates / filing etc.
  • Responsible for day-to-day financial management of your clients
  • Ensure projects are estimated correctly and delivered within budget
  • Ownership of the JCR process ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Weekly management of head hours – ensuring projects are profitable on completion
  • Timesheets completed accurately and timely
  • Act as quality controller for all work created
  • Creation and maintenance of all project documentation
  • Ensure that BMF and our clients are not exposed to any legal issue within a campaign

Qualifications

  • Any experience working in an advertising, communications or creative agency will be highly advantageous.
  • History of strong client relationships
  • Proven ability to deliver great creative ideas
  • Good understanding of marketing strategy
  • Strong understanding of media plans and production specs
  • Deep understanding of all communication channels
  • Clear and articulate communications, with strong presentation skills
  • Flawless attention to detail and a strong drive for excellence.
  • The ability to help with the preparation of presentation documents, including strong PowerPoint (and other relevant) skills.
