Blockchain Business Analyst - Full Time W2

About the Role:
As a Blockchain Business Analyst on the Operations team, you will support various functions necessary for the pillar of the company responsible for Digital Asset Custody, Settlement, and Trading. This role will be a mix of part time operations staff, part time researcher and data analyst. Your work will be showcased in the form of reporting, documenting and organizing. You will report to the Senior Product Manager.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Technology, and the Blockchain Product Owner, to document solutions for upcoming blockchain changes and create business-facing documentation and release notes.
- You’ll contribute to product development and ensure that insights align with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on available token claims, in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report on upcoming forks to the business team, explaining significance and potential business impact.
- Follow official communication channels of all blockchain and DAS supported by ProCap.
- Assist in verifying that the third party services, if used, are also updated to the upgrade compatible versions.
- Seek clarification from affected DAS issuers: unless the position of the DAS issuers has been announced at their official notifications channel (in the most cases it would be a website, or an official press release issued).
- Assist the internal DAS Review Committee.
- Produce and submit corporate action (airdrop/fork) notifications to Prometheum vendors.
- Ensure that internal records are reconciled to blockchain and prepare reconciliations for Operations staff. Provide Weekly internal audit reports.
- Monitor internal systems for alerts.
- Ensure the business and its vendors are aligned regarding holiday observance.
Qualifications:
- Cryptocurrency Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, including blockchain technology, DeFi, NFTs, tokenomics…etc.
- Data Analytics and Modeling: Strong quantitative analysis skills, with experience building models.
- Skilled at writing detailed reports, market updates, translating research findings.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Good understanding of Ethereum blockchain.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience supporting Operations/ Finance teams.
