Biorepository Associate

We are seeking Biorepository Associate to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Valencia, CA

Shift: Tuesday - Saturday from 8:30pm to 5:00am

As a Biorepository Associate, you will support specimen intake, quality checks, long-term storage, and inventory tracking to ensure seamless and compliant biorepository operations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist with receipt and documentation of consignments and shipments

• Perform quality checks on patient information forms and escalate discrepancies or damaged specimens

• Manage sample disposition for long-term storage or shipment to clients

• Support after-hour alarms and other job-critical functions

• Help maintain laboratory equipment and clean workstations

• Conduct supply inventory and contribute to organizational upkeep

• Perform administrative duties and organize work areas as directed

• Receive compounds and control material depending on assigned area

• Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements

• Participate in ongoing training and staff development initiatives

What We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with data entry or tracking systems

• Ability to manage workflow reporting and maintain documentation procedures

• Strong team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures

• Basic understanding of sample handling procedures and compliance guidelines

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to navigate routine lab functions with minimal supervision

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $24,400.00 - $50,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
