Analog Devices, Inc. is looking for a Biomedical Machine Learning Engineer to join our Medical Products Group in Wilmington, Massachusetts. As a Biomedical Machine Learning Engineer in ADI's medical products group, this position will be responsible for developing a machine/statistical learning algorithm and analyzing the clinical data to help build core competency of clinical insights for ADI’s medical products’ chronic disease management solutions. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, global team of software/hardware/system engineers, user experience designers as well as third-party stakeholders to deliver clinical-grade end medical products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a machine/statistical learning algorithm/model to solve problems in healthcare with clinical insights and interpretation.
  • Analyze and manage a large volume of clinical data to expand understanding in chronic disease management.
  • Define, and assess the opportunities to adapt advanced machine learning models to address customer needs in the regulated healthcare industry.
  • Engage with multi-disciplinary teams of software/hardware systems/firmware and business/marketing to continue to develop and improve the medical system.
  • Support satisfying regulatory and quality requirements as a medical device manufacturing company.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or statistics with versatile machine learning experiences or equivalent.
  • Strong background in data science and statistics with preferred research experience with statistical analysis on a large volume of data
  • Solid understanding in medical physiology.
  • Efficient communication and presentation skills for external stakeholders of medical professionals as well as the internal development team with various disciplines.

Additional Desirable Skills, Knowledges and Abilities

  • Experience of software development in the cloud environment such as AWS, GCP Azure and etc.
  • Experience in engaging with medical professionals.
  • Working knowledges of various programming languages (Python, MATLAB, C/C++, and etc.)
  • Being able to work in a fast-paced work environment.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $108,800 to $149,600.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.

  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
