About the role:

The BIM Coordinator leads the development and management of BIM models for large-scale projects, overseeing the process to ensure alignment with protocols and execution plans. This role establishes quality control procedures, coordinates BIM workshops, and supports project teams with clash detection and multi-disciplinary integration. They will be collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to meet deliverable schedules.


Roles/Tasks of the Position:

  • Lead the creation, development, and management of BIM models for large-scale mission-critical projects.
  • Oversee the Architectural BIM process, ensuring alignment with protocols and execution plans.
  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures and coordinate BIM workshops to track progress.
  • Manage BIM deliverables, including models, drawings, schedules, and coordination exports.
  • Support project teams with clash detection, multi-disciplinary integration, and high-quality spatial data delivery.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, technicians, and project managers to define and meet deliverable schedules.
  • Grow proficiency in cross-disciplinary BIM processes, independently coordinating smaller-scale projects.


Education/Experience:

  • Degree or certification in BIM, architecture, or related field from an accredited university.
  • Proficiency with REVIT required.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Cloud Services, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office preferred.
  • Experience in modeling a range of services, including but not limited to mechanical pipework, ventilation, lighting, power, containment, and drainage.
  • An articulate communicator able to convey Design Technology related concepts.
  • Eagerness to develop skills and a desire to assist others with high standard BIM output on projects.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage competing demands.


PREREQUISITES/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Negative 10-panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test.
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • Satisfactory background check.
