At DIALOG, Building Information Modelling (BIM) plays a critical role in delivering coordinated, high-quality projects across disciplines. As a BIM Coordinator, you will work closely with project teams to support the planning, implementation, and management of BIM processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Reporting to the Design Technology Leadership team and working alongside project managers, architects, engineers, and consultants, you will help ensure project models are coordinated, compliant with project standards, and aligned with client requirements. You will be a trusted technical resource who supports project delivery through effective BIM workflows, model management, and coordination practices.
How you'll make a difference:
- Support the implementation and execution of BIM processes, standards, and project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Establish and maintain project models, templates, worksharing environments, and file structures across the project lifecycle.
- Conduct model audits and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with BIM standards, project requirements, and best practices.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary models with internal teams and external consultants using cloud-based collaboration and coordination platforms.
- Facilitate coordination reviews, including clash detection, issue tracking, and resolution workflows.
- Monitor model health, performance, and data integrity while supporting documentation workflows and problem-solving.
- Support project deliverables and information exchanges while maintaining BIM documentation, coordination reports, and compliance records.
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance on Revit and BIM tools while contributing to continuous improvement of BIM standards, workflows, and practices.
Who you are:
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3-7 years of experience in BIM-enabled Architecture, Engineering, or Construction environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with experience supporting multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of coordination platforms (e.g., Autodesk Forma or similar) and model coordination practices across disciplines.
- Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), industry standards, and information management principles (ISO 19650 familiarity is an asset).
- Solid understanding of building systems, construction documentation, and project delivery processes.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
- Effective communicator and collaborator, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Dynamo, BIM automation, or emerging technologies is an asset.

What We Do
Hello. Glad you stopped by. In fact, we were hoping you’d stop by because we’re unabashedly passionate about design and love to connect with those who feel the same. We’re a team of architects, urban planners, interior designers, structural, mechanical and electrical engineers, and landscape architects who truly believe design can, and should, meaningfully improve the wellbeing of our communities and the environment we all share. And we don’t just say that. We mean it! We’ve come together because we see the important challenges facing communities becoming increasingly complex. We believe the diverse perspectives and expertise of our multidisciplinary team uniquely position us to tackle these challenges in ways our competitors can't. We even have clients who would tell you we’ve made the impossible possible! Our work includes designing for urban vibrancy, health and wellness, transportation, education, arts and culture, residential, retail, and commercial, as well as mixed-use solutions which incorporate an increasing number of these. As a group of creatives, we’re known as people who think outside the box. But the truth is we’re usually pushing, pulling, cutting, carving, sketching and modelling our clients' needs that eventually become places for communities to enjoy. If you’re interested in thinking outside the box with us, we want to hear from you
