Billing Specialist – Railcar Repair
Job Duties & Responsibilities:- Prepares, reviews, and processes customer invoices for railcar cleaning, maintenance, and repair services.
- Ensures all completed railcar repair work orders are accurately billed according to customer contracts, approved rates, labor, materials, and services performed.
- Reviews work orders, service records, and supporting documentation to verify billing accuracy and completeness.
- Work directly with the designated repair locations to resolve incomplete, conflicting, or inaccurate BRC information. Maintains accurate billing records, customer accounts, and supporting documentation.
- Communicates with customers regarding invoice questions, billing discrepancies, and payment status.
- Processes billing adjustments, credits, and corrections as needed.
- Assists with tracking outstanding invoices, reconciling billing records, and preparing billing reports.
- Ensures invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner while following company procedures and customer billing requirements.
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday (Occasional weekend and travel requirements)
