Summary
The Billing & Accounting Administrator is responsible for processing invoices, accounts receivable, and related functions, working out of CME’s Corporate Headquarters in East Syracuse, NY. The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Invoicing - complete invoices and enter sale data into QuickBooks, complete and distribute invoicing monthly and according to the client invoice schedule.
- Accounts Receivable - complete A/R calls, generate reports, and update QuickBooks. This includes processing and storing all backup documentation that relates to the conclusions stated in the report.
- Payroll Processing - process and submit payroll documentation including, but not limited to making Divisional Staff aware of any changes or discrepancies with timesheets, expense sheets, or documented time worked
- Provide clear communication with Billing and Accounting administrative staff and CME clients.
- Complete New Project set-up, and contract compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must possess a high school diploma; associate’s degree in business, accounting or related is ideal.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, or similar accounting software is desirable.
- Must possess extensive experience creating spreadsheets and manipulating data using Microsoft Excel.
- Must be organized and possess exceptional communication skills.
- Must be able to initiate and follow through with requests for information and track due dates/deadlines.
- Must have exceptional time-management skills and possess the ability to prioritize workload.
Compensation: $21 - 25 / hour
