Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery
of cross-functional BI initiatives across Japan, US, and Europe, managing
scope, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
- Architect and build
scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Azure Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake),
Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and ADLS Gen2.

Qualifications:
- 8+ years in BI/Analytics
Engineering (3+ yrs in a technical lead/senior role)
- Strong hands-on
experience: Azure Databricks, Power BI (DAX, Data Modeling, Deployment
Pipelines), Python, SQL
- Business-level Japanese
(JLPT N3+) and English (TOEIC700+), proven ability to communicate
effectively with stakeholders and technical audiences
- Solid understanding of
data architecture (dimensional modeling, medallion/data vault) & cloud
governance
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in
Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, or related field
- Proven ability to thrive
in ambiguity, prioritize ruthlessly, and communicate clearly across
technical & business audiences
Nice to
Have:
- Microsoft Fabric, dbt,
or Azure certifications (DP-600, DP-203, AZ-900)
- Semiconductor,
manufacturing, or high-tech industry analytics experience
Skills Required
- 8+ years in BI/Analytics Engineering with 3+ years in a technical lead/senior role
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (PySpark) and Delta Lake
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and ADLS Gen2
- Power BI development including DAX, data modeling, deployment pipelines, and RLS
- Proficient in Python and SQL for ETL/transformations and automation
- Familiarity with Git, code review, testing best practices and CI/CD
