The Bilingual Copywriter will be responsible for developing clear, creative, and engaging copy in English and Arabic for a range of client projects. Working closely with creative and account teams, the consultant will help translate client objectives and key messages into effective content for multiple platforms and formats.
Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop well-crafted long-form and short-form copy, including video scripts, social media posts, website content, digital advertising, print ads, collateral, and other communication materials.
Write interesting, insightful, and error-free social and digital content, captions, and advertising copy in English and Arabic.
Review, edit, and rewrite messages as required by clients and internal team members.
Identify client key messages and develop effective ways to communicate them clearly and creatively.
Conduct rapid industry-specific research to add value and context to communication materials.
Apply a creative and inquisitive mindset to simplify messaging and strengthen the overall quality of written outputs.
Collaborate effectively with creative, account, and project teams to deliver high-quality content aligned with client objectives.
Ensure consistency, clarity, tone, and accuracy across all written deliverables.
Proven experience in creative copywriting, content development, communications, advertising, or a related field.
Strong bilingual writing capability in English and Arabic, with the ability to write naturally and effectively for different audiences and platforms.
Excellent grammar, communication, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong understanding of social, digital, and advertising content formats.
Ability to recognize key messages and translate them into clear, creative, and impactful copy.
Creative, curious, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of tone, language, and messaging.
Ability to work collaboratively with creative and account teams in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, advertising, English, Arabic, or a related field is preferred.
Must be based in Amman, Jordan, or available to support the .Pomelo team in Amman as required.
