We are looking for __you as our Bid Manager (m/f/d)__ for the yoummday Sales team based in __Munich__.
As __Bid Manager (m/f/d)__, you are responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process — from initial opportunity assessment through to submission of high-quality, compelling proposals. Acting as a strategic partner to the Sales Manager, you ensure all bids are delivered on time, compliant with requirements, and aligned to yoummday’s value proposition.
While the Sales Manager owns the client relationship and overall commercial success, you own the bid process and delivery — ensuring seamless collaboration between all stakeholders to produce winning submissions.
__1. End-to-End Bid Management__
* __Full lifecycle management__ of RFIs, RFPs, and tender responses — meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
* __Requirements analysis:__ interpret RFP requirements and create clear, concise summaries for internal stakeholders.
* __Facilitate Bid/No-Bid decisions__ by assessing risks, identifying resource needs, and escalating concerns as necessary.
* __Coordinate cross-functional bid teams__ (Sales, Operations, Talent Acquisition, Legal, IT, Product) — lead kick-off meetings and follow-up workshops.
* __Write, edit, and structure bid responses__ that are accurate, persuasive, and compliant — integrating both technical and commercial inputs.
* __Track and manage all internal and client deadlines,__ escalating risks of delay as required.
__2. Process, Tools, Documentation & Continuous Improvement__
* __Maintain and optimise bid/project management systems__ (HubSpot, Monday.com, Teams).
* __Keep bid documentation up to date:__ templates, RFP library, and bid materials always fit for purpose.
* __Develop and implement continuous improvements__ in bid processes, templates, and workflows.
* __Leverage AI__ to increase efficiency and improve time-to-answer as well as answer quality.
__3. Business Development Support__
* __Research and identify new RFP opportunities__ to increase yoummday’s visibility and participation in tender processes.
* __Proactively reach out to procurement departments__ of target organizations to increase invitations to RFPs and RFIs.
* __Support the Sales Manager__ in preparing proposals and presentations by delivering standard content from the RFP library.

* __5+ years of experience__ in Bid Management.
* __Familiarity with procurement processes__ and a solid understanding of public vs. private sector tenders.
* __Experience with multilingual/global bids__ is a plus.
