Job Summary (General Responsibilities):
Responsible for the management, oversight, and execution of Bid Pricing and Deal Registration activities for all channels, including Distribution, VAR, DMR, and OEM. Maintain pricing parity across one, two, and three-tier distribution models. Assess and price opportunities based on opportunity size, competitive pressures, value-add activities generated by the partner, and other factors. Focus on gaining market share and winning business from competitors through outstanding customer service, intelligent channel pricing, and holistic pricing integrity management.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Ability to manage multiple pricing tiers and price competitive bids accordingly
- High Competence in Gross Profit & Margin calculations
- Ability to understand GIM% and provide pricing/quote to the customer when needed
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and adjust pricing patterns to price for success
- High attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of cost analytics
- Familiarity with tracking and reporting business metrics to management
- Ability to effectively communicate issues to product management teams, sales management, and channel salespeople
- Running and analyzing of reports in Business Objects as it relates to the Bid Desk
- Strong knowledge in system applications: Oracle ERP, High-Speed Order Entry (HSOE), Salesforce.com (SFDC), and Business Objects (BO)
- Respond to all customers inquiries sent via email, phone, or chat as it relates to the Bid Desk
- Meet multiple Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) – 2-hour, 4-hour, 24-hour based on priority
- Ability to earn trust and rapport with key customers and accounts
- Ability to develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships
- Customer-first approach to all business decisions and service
- Ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Purchasing, Production, and Product Management
- Strong knowledge of Business-to-Business Sales
- Excellent communication and follow-up/follow-through skills
- Ability to take the initiative in personal growth and development
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Understand and follow company rules and regulations.
- Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001, understand and fully support ISO system.
- Fulfill responsibilities under OHSAS 18001, understand and fully support OHSAS 18001 system
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required
- Accountable for driving revenue with existing customers while providing first-in-class support to inquiries and opportunities such as technical information, pricing, quotes, up-selling, and cross-selling of the Belkin product divisions
- Manage, enforce, and process sales forms through Salesforce.com
- Accountable for adhering to the organization and department procedures and guidelines, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Attain and retain business acumen, including Belkin assortments of products and industry market trends
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience
- 2+ years of Sales/Sales Operations/Bid Processing
- Full Microsoft Suite of Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP system preferred
- Experience with Salesforce.com highly desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar and spelling
- High level of detail with matters affecting multi-million-dollar business opportunities
- Sound mathematical skills; ability to GIM, GM quickly, and other financial calculations

Range for this position:
$45,000 - $58,000
Factors such as geographic location, academic credentials, relevant experience, and specific knowledge, skills and abilities will influence the actual salary offered. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, compensation also includes a performance-based bonus, and in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
