We are dedicated to empowering our employees with data-driven insights to drive sales and operational excellence. We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer who is passionate about creating impactful dashboards and tools that support our organization's growth.
The Power BI Developer will focus on developing intuitive and actionable dashboards and user tools for internal stakeholders, particularly in sales and operations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in Power BI and a strong understanding of business processes, with a commitment to delivering exceptional internal customer service.
Position Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights for sales funnel development, operational efficiency, and other key business areas.
- Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to ensure comprehensive and accurate reporting.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand their data needs and translate them into effective BI solutions. Works closely with Director of Business Intelligence and adheres to corporate data governance guidelines.
- Training and Support: Provide training sessions and ongoing support to team members on how to utilize BI tools effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to enhance existing solutions.
Professional Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related level of experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports in a related business. Proven experience working with sales and operations data, including funnel analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, CRM and ERP tools. Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes. Experience with SQL and database management.
- Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business processes in sales and operations. Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality service to internal customers. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Proactive in identifying issues and providing solutions.
