About the Role
You'll partner closely with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and develop secure, scalable solutions that improve efficiency across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications
- Build secure APIs and integrations between internal and third-party platforms
- Develop modern front-end and back-end solutions using .NET and C#
- Design and optimise SQL databases for performance and reliability
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining high engineering standards
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
- Troubleshoot production issues and continuously enhance existing applications
- Contribute to architectural decisions, technical standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that create real business value
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Information Systems
- 3–5 years' experience developing production software
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with .NET and C#
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture and clean coding principles
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Advanced SQL skills, including schema design, query optimisation and performance tuning
- Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Experience debugging, supporting and maintaining production systems
Advantageous
Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as:
- GitHub Copilot
- Cursor
- Claude Code

Skills Required
- 3-5 years' experience in a BI Developer or similar role
- Strong SQL skills with experience in query writing and performance tuning
- Proficiency in SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
- Proficiency in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Experience with data modelling and database design
- Solid understanding of ETL processes
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI or similar)
- Experience developing and maintaining SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy
- Analytical thinker who enjoys working with data and solving problems
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
