At Payfuture, we’re building global payment infrastructure that helps merchants access some of the fastest-growing markets in the world. Data plays a critical role in how we understand our performance, support our merchants, and scale our platform.
We’re looking for a BI Developer to help us strengthen our analytics and reporting capabilities. In this role, you’ll work with data from across the business to build dashboards, design data models, and deliver insights that help teams make better decisions.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work closely with teams across the business to understand their questions and translate them into clear, useful analytics.
This includes:
- Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Designing and optimising data models used for analytics and reporting
- Writing SQL queries to transform and prepare data for analysis
- Ensuring data accuracy and consistency across reporting outputs
Your dashboards and reports will help teams across Payfuture understand performance, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions. You will also help shape how data is structured and prepared for analytics.
This includes:
- Support our ELT processes by building transformations used for reporting
- Work with our ClickHouse data warehouse to organise data for efficient analytics
- Improve existing dashboards and reporting performance
- Help establish best practices around data modelling and reporting
Requirements
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems with data and building tools that others rely on.
Core experience
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau or another BI tool (Power BI, Looker, etc.)
- Understanding of data modelling concepts (fact tables, dimension tables)
- Experience working with data warehouses
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience working with ClickHouse
- Familiarity with ELT/ETL processes
- Knowledge of Python
- Experience working with large datasets
