BI & Data Engineer

The Role: 

We are searching for someone with a passion for data to strengthen our DataOps team. You will be involved in several data aspects with a focus on our BI platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing interactive dashboards and reports. Other elements range from providing analysis on data models for our products and providing assistance on T-SQL challenges. You will be part of a cross-functional data team and work together with other engineers in a scaled Agile setting. You will join a team where open communication is key, technical aspects are always discussed and decided within the team.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports

• Create and maintain data pipelines

• Assist stakeholders on performance questions in SQLServer

• Analyse requirements for our data platform

Ideal Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in Power BI

• SQL Server and T-SQL Development

• Python knowledge  

• Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch/French being an asset

• Strong written & verbal communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of PySpark, Scala, Databricks, Powershell and/or ApacheSuperset and/or Metabase
