As our business continues to grow, we are now looking for a BI Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiarize and assist with reporting related to different aspects of the organization including compliance, regulatory, financial, business and marketing functions.
- Assist (from a reporting perspective) in the company's goal of getting certified in new Jurisdictions, including understanding regulator's requirements and mapping these requirements into the available data coming from the gaming platform.
- Build reusable Jurisdictional reports and automate data send outs where required.
- Contribute technically to different levels of data preparation, transformation, visualization and delivery.
- Familiarize with the existing data lake infrastructure and assist with improving this overall setup.
- Assist with adhoc investigations regarding potential data discrepancies and perform reconciliation exercises with external data sources.
- Troubleshoot issues related to incorrect reporting data, tracking down and fixing the source of these issues.
- Assist with improvements to the overall data platform including daily tasks such as changes to ETL tranformations to address reporting requirements, schema changes in data catalog, and any changes to pipeline scripts.
- Liase with internal teams about data and reporting requirements and identify the right way to access and transform data.
- Help in a technical manner to improve the overall data pipeline to improve data availability.
- Handle improvements to existing reports, implement new reports tackling any arising reporting requirements and address day-to-day report/info requests.
- Experience with BI report building tools (ideally AWS QuickSight or any similar BI visualisation tool).
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with Gaming Sector and knowledge of reporting requirements for different jurisdictions
- Familiar with command line tools and scripting/development in bash and TypeScript
- Knowledge of software development practices/standards (ideally git and gitlab pipelines)
- Basic AWS knowledge
