STV is seeking a BIM Manager – Bentley Systems to join our Digital Advisory team within the Centers of Excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong Bentley Systems expertise, especially in OpenBuildings, and will provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship in building information modeling (BIM) workflows for complex infrastructure and building projects. This position will help ensure efficient coordination, high-quality deliverables, and successful project execution.
Responsibilities include:
Lead multi-disciplinary BIM coordination meetings and resolve complex design and constructability issues.
Utilize Bentley Systems software, with emphasis on OpenBuildings, to manage and coordinate BIM models across infrastructure and building projects.
Provide hands-on support for Bentley software suite, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize performance.
Develop and maintain enterprise digital libraries, templates, and scripts to support BIM workflows.
Evaluate project deliverables for compliance with BIM execution plans, standards, and client requirements.
Interface with clients to define BIM deliverables and ensure adherence to agreed-upon protocols.
Mentor junior team members in BIM best practices through formal and informal training sessions.
Stay current with Bentley software updates, digital delivery trends, and emerging BIM technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
15 years of experience in AEC industry with strong focus on BIM management.
Expert-level proficiency in Bentley Systems, particularly OpenBuildings, MicroStation, and ProjectWise.
Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
Familiarity with BIM standards, QA/QC processes, and digital delivery best practices.
Preferred but not Required:
Professional Certification in BIM Management.
Experience with infrastructure or transit projects.
Familiarity with programming or automation tools (Dynamo, C#, Python, Java).
Compensation Range:
