This position is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with youth who have trauma histories in an acute or residential behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities & Qualifications- Assist in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, support skill acquisition plans and reinforcement systems as designed by the BCBA.
- Contribute to writing, sharing and putting into practice behavioral protocols, and behavior definitions.
- Observe behavioral patterns and support consistency across the milieu.
- Collect and record data on target behaviors and create graphs.
- Participate in team meetings, sharing observations, and contributing to treatment planning.
- Learn about trauma informed behavioral work with opportunities to observe clinical groups.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree program in psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field strongly preferred
- Experience working with children with autism or in a therapeutic setting preferred.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
- Excellent oral communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
- Commitment to confidentiality in all matters related to Italian Home for Children business, development, and fundraising practices
- Ability to function effectively in a small team environment
- Demonstrate sensitivity and appreciation for diverse viewpoints and different communication styles in a politically and culturally diverse environment
- Flexible thinking and willingness to support other people and projects
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift and carry up to 75 lbs.

The hourly wage range for this role is $21-23 per hour USD, dependent on experience. This number does not reflect additional compensation-related benefits such as PTO, medical and life insurance, EAP, and the Italian Home for Children 403(b) retirement plan.
