Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to manage & lead the Internal Audit Core team. This role will report directly to the QMS Sr Leader of BDS Quality and will be located in Berkeley, MO, Huntsville, AL, Mesa, AZ, Philadelphia, PA or Puget Sound, WA.
The successful candidate will have the ability to understand the big picture, inter-relationship of functions, organize information and develop recommendations for executive consumption relating to all things QMS. They will also work collaboratively across a variety of functions and levels within the organization and customer.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages internal audit planning and execution across all BDS Divisions.
- Manages employees and performing QMS internal audits and technical activities on or in support of the implementation and execution of the internal audits program across BDS.
- Support the development of and lead the execution of strategies, plans, policies, and procedures to maintain and improve internal audit performance.
- Communication with and support of all BDS sites for activities supported by the internal audit team.
- Provides education, coaching and ensures effective execution of the internal audits.
- Analyze audit data to ensure the process is effective and to identify improvement opportunities for process development and execution.
- Provide support to BDS sites related to 3rd party certification.
- Leads by example through the use of Seek, Speak & Listen to create an inclusive culture
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher, where Bachelor' of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing technology), computer science, data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Internal Audits
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years of experience leading or managing diverse teams
- 2+ years of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
- Currently certified Auditor through an industry recognized provider
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
- Experience performing compliance monitoring and policy assessments/audits
- Experience conducting site regulatory compliance audits

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Berkeley, MO, Huntsville, AL, and Mesa, AZ: $110,500 – $149,500
Philadelphia, PA & Puget Sound, WA: $118,150 - $159,850
