Job Description
- Specify Sika’s offshore solutions in renewables, actively securing Request for Quotations (RFQs) and ensuring Sika’s solutions are considered.
- Proactively identify and secure new customers and projects in Offshore Construction with the objective of increasing sales and margins. Explore new applications and opportunities to strengthen Sika’s market position.
- Develop and pursue leads within Marine Construction, positioning Sika’s solutions effectively in this sector. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including Sika entities, investors, contractors, and engineers, to expand our reach and influence.
- Network with and support Sika’s Certified Applicator Network for Offshore Grouts, ensuring that they are well-equipped to represent and deploy Sika’s solutions in various projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders in the offshore industry. Conduct regular meetings, provide support, and ensure a high level of satisfaction among clients and partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in BEngineering, or a related field with 7-10 years of experience in offshore industries (e.g., oil & gas, maritime, renewable energy), including expertise in offshore operations, technologies, and market trends.
- Proven experience in driving business growth and executing strategic initiatives within offshore sectors, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and the ability to engage and influence key decision-makers across diverse, global markets.
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to collaborate effectively in a matrix organization, managing cross-functional and multicultural teams remotely.
- Willingness to travel internationally, with the flexibility to spend approximately 30% of working time on-site or with clients in various global locations.
Additional Information
This role can be based in any country in Europe where Sika operates, with regular travel across the region (approximately 30% of working time).
