Great Lakes Hyundai of Columbus is looking for a BDC Sales Consultant. Are you great on the phone, fast on the keyboard, and driven by results? Do you love the thrill of turning a “just looking” lead into a confirmed showroom visit? If so, we want YOU on our Automotive Business Development Center (BDC) team.
What You’ll Do- Respond quickly to internet, phone, text, and chat leads
- Build rapport and excitement with potential customers
- Set high-quality sales and service appointments
- Follow up like a pro—because the fortune is in the follow-up
- Keep CRM notes clean, accurate, and up to date
- Work closely with sales managers to maximize show and close rates
- Strong communication skills - both on the phone and written
- Positive attitude and competitive mindset
- Comfortable handling high lead volume
- Coachable, reliable, and goal-oriented
- Previous BDC, call center, or sales experience is a plus
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of BDC experience in a dealership setting, preferred not required
- Proven experience in a customer service or sales role is a plus
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other business communication tools
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and customer-focused
