Job DescriptionOur client is a Belgian technology company specializing in advanced software and system integration for sectors such as automotive, mobility, and industry. They focus on building intelligent, data-driven solutions that enable automation, efficiency, and innovation. With strong expertise in embedded systems, cloud platforms, and AI, they support businesses in bridging the gap between hardware and software to accelerate digital transformation. You will contribute to the development of their main platform that is designed to streamline the collection, management, and analysis of data from diverse sources. It enables real-time monitoring, visualization, and insights that help teams make informed decisions quickly. With flexible integration options and a user-friendly interface, it simplifies the process of turning raw data into actionable intelligence, supporting use cases across development, testing, and operational environments.
Position – how you’ll contribute
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Architecting and developing robust and scalable backend systems.
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Contributing to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and ensuring our technology stack is current
Expectations – the experience you nee
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (+3 years) as a backend engineer or similar role.
- Strong programming skills in C#, Python is a plus.
- Experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git).
- Experience with Rest APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
