Aidoc is recruiting a Backend Tech Lead in Tel Aviv. Join our team!
- 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing complex, production-grade systems.
- Proven experience building and maintaining backend services end-to-end: architecture, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- At least 2 years of experience in technical leadership — guiding design and implementation within a team or across multiple components.
- Previous responsibility of mentoring engineers and scaling engineering culture
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-scale, high-quality technical projects, applying best practices such as design reviews and architectural trade-offs.
- Deep understanding of system design, APIs, and distributed systems principles.
- Strong coding skills in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js, Java, C#).
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS or equivalent), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to lead through influence and example.
- A proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and passion for building well-engineered, impactful products.
- Experience and understanding of production monitoring and observability tools.
- Advantage: Familiarity with frontend technologies and frameworks — able to contribute occasionally across the stack.
