We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be able to help develop features and modules for Outfit7 games, as well as backend services that power high-scale, real-time systems. Every day, we work with games that thrill hundreds of millions of players worldwide, continuously improve our services, and deliver top-quality gaming experiences. Design and develop backend functionalities for Outfit7 games and platforms.
Build and optimize services that process high volumes of requests.
Cooperate closely with other departments in the company.
Work independently and efficiently as part of a team of backend developers.
Constantly learn about and try new technologies.
Proficient programming skills and knowledge of Java.
Knowledge of Kotlin is a plus.
Attention to detail, with a solution-focused mindset and approach.
Positive, make-it-happen, lead-by-example attitude.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
2+ years of experience in backend development or a similar technical role.
Experience building scalable, distributed systems or high-throughput APIs.
Cloud experience (Google Cloud, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform) is a plus.
Familiarity with good software engineering practices (code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, etc.).
Employment relationship with Ekipa2, d.o.o. (an Outfit7 subsidiary) for an indefinite period of time, with a six-month probationary period.
