Company Overview: Dialectic, a crypto-native organization of builders and capital advisors, is seeking a backend/infrastructure engineer intern to join the team on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing team, focused on investing in and building compelling software in emerging crypto and blockchain technologies.
Job Summary: We are offering a IT & Infrastructure Internship for a person with strong skills who can write code for infrastructure, knows Kubernetes/Terraform basics and is interested in cryptocurrencies particularly EVM chains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Infrastructure Architect in design and implementation of systems and policies.
- Assist and improve internal IT systems.
- Maintain and extend internal tooling for our EVM based realtime risk management platform.
- Support our backend infrastructure for portfolio managers and data analysts.
- Optimize CI/CD processes to speed up compilation times.
- Work closely with the Software team to improve the reliability of our software stack.
- Join our SecOps team to review and harden Github policies.
Key Requirements:
- Strong Interest in the Cryptocurrency and especially DeFi space.
- An understanding of the security concerns specific to web3 development practices.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, be independent and be flexible.
- Self-motivated, disciplined and detail-oriented.
- Fluent in English and German
