Job description
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to support the growth and evolution of our business.
As a Backend Developer at Everli, you will work closely with product managers, designers, analysts, and fellow engineers to build smart, scalable, and reliable backend solutions that power a seamless user experience.
You’ll be involved in every stage of the development process—from understanding the business needs to designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software.
You will join a small, distributed, domain-driven team where autonomy and ownership are key. In our fast-paced environment, you’ll be encouraged to experiment, think critically, and always strive for technical excellence.

Requirements:
- At least 4 years of relevant experience working with Node.js, PHP (Laravel) or other backend technologies;
- You have a good understanding of both NoSQL and SQL databases (ex: MongoDB, MYSQL, Redis…)
- You have experience with REST APIs
- Experience with asynchronous communication concepts (messaging queues, event-based systems…)
- Worked in AWS or similar cloud environments
- You are experienced in designing, building, and shipping infrastructure for traffic-intensive applications;
- You distinguish yourself for great communication and synthesis skills;
- You have an analytical, detail-focused mindset, but always looking at the big picture;
- You are a team player: you work well with other people within and outside the tech team.
