As a Backend Engineer, you’ll design and scale the systems that power The Flex — from reservation logic and payments to property automation and data intelligence.
You’ll focus on building high-performance APIs, serverless architectures, and automation pipelines that make our platform faster, smarter, and more reliable every day.

• API Architecture: Design and optimize scalable APIs connecting booking platforms, payment processors, and internal systems.

• Automation at Scale: Build tools to automate critical workflows — check-ins, check-outs, messaging, and reporting.

• System Design: Develop resilient, serverless infrastructure that supports global rental operations.

• Data Reliability: Maintain data accuracy and system integrity across integrations.

• Problem Solving: Diagnose and fix complex backend issues quickly and efficiently.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and operations teams to bring real-world needs into technical reality.

• Code Quality: Write clean, testable, and maintainable code supported by CI/CD best practices.

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

• Deep understanding of API design, scalability, and distributed systems.

• Experience with serverless architecture (Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.).

• Familiarity with FastAPI, Python, or scripting (bonus).

• Experience in automation systems (real estate, travel, or rentals is a plus).

• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and a bias toward action.
