Job Description

Work on multiple top revenue-generating features

Take part in building and extending the premium platform

Improve your skills and learn from top-notch senior engineers

Tackle tough problems in complex business flows and find creative ways to solve them

Participate in cross-premium technical activities together with developers from other teams
Qualifications

A Backend developer with minimum 5 years of experience of working in a microservices environment

Proactive mindset, never accepting the present state without understanding the underlying reasons

The ability to write clean code that is readable, simple, and maintainable

Ability to identify and improve upon bad code, always seeking better solutions
-
Quick grasp of large and complex systems, understanding their inner workings
-
Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as testing, code reviews, and immutability

Deep understanding of dev tools, libraries, and frameworks

Proficient in debugging and investigating production issues

An independent learner, leader and team player with excellent communication skills and a great sense of humor

We’re the Wix’s Premium Services team. We’re in charge of all of Wix’s Premium users. We own the most critical path in the user journey where they decide to pay for Wix’s services. Our mission is to base all of our financial relationships with our users on exceptional Premium products. We sell, deliver and build the platforms that serve all of Wix’s business. We have a direct impact on the success of Wix and it’s a responsibility we take seriously.
The Premium company has teams that are both business and platform-oriented teams, so you'll be able to find the best fit for you. We work on extremely complex Async long-running processes that involve integration with many groups across Wix, as well as with multiple industry leaders like Google, Stripe, Web.com, etc.
