Our Payment Team powers Nord Security’s global business. We build and maintain the systems behind secure, seamless payment experiences for users worldwide. Working with a broad network of international payment providers, we operate at a large scale and solve challenges tied to high-load environments, complex payment flows, and recurring subscription payments.

Main Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems in our Payments’ infrastructure;
- Write high-quality code that is tested, maintainable, documented, and performs well under load;
- Work with different payment methods from all around the world;
- Integrate new service providers, each with its own code and functionality;
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes;
- Collaborate with your team members, QA, DevOps, and security teams on day-to-day tasks;
- Mentor colleagues and provide technical guidance when needed;
- Perform R&D operations and find solutions to new and challenging problems we encounter;
Core Requirements
- Proven experience working with PHP;
- Experience working with Golang;
- Proven experience building microservices and knowledge of microservices patterns;
- Understanding of OOP principles and good code design;
- Understanding of API design;
- Good MySQL knowledge;
- Experience working with Git;
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and Redis is a plus.
