Backend Engineer - II

About the Job
We are looking to hire a strong backend engineer for our Technology team. We are looking for passionate individuals that are excited about taking up new challenges and bringing them to life. The ideal candidate combines a strong technology background, with a problem-solving mindset and solid work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Work closely with the design, product, and backend teams to understand and break down customer needs into technical requirements.

• Implementations: Should be able to structure and write code, design, and adhere to common principles and patterns. Should have the ability to contribute according to timelines and type of projects - from working POCs to stable production code and the ability to work with a large breadth of knowledge.

• Ownership: End-to-end ownership of services and specialized components required for various projects - starting from the prototypal stage to production. These may include anything from document parsing to solving problems using deep learning.

• Delivery: Delivery of modules and components assigned in various projects.

Ideal Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in backend software technologies like Java and Spring boot

• Experience in working with MYSQL Database and prior knowledge of db modeling

• Strong background in JS(Java script)

• Strong background in responsive and multi-platform design.

• Experience in JPA 2.6.3 (Java Persistent API) frameworks

• Experience in integrating with web service APIs / Rest APIs

• Experience in working with micro-service architecture

• Should have worked in a minimum of  Agile projects (SCRUM)

• Experience in Unit testing/integration testing of backend APIs using Junit or any unit testing framework

• Prior experience in working with MVC Architecture

• Should be able to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment

• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English

• Startup experience is a huge plus.
