About the role:
We are looking for a Backend Developer - PHP with a good understanding of Symfony to join our Technology team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing integrations with major platforms like Meta, Google, and Amazon, ensuring seamless data exchange at scale. Leveraging a robust and scalable server infrastructure, you will work alongside a team of highly skilled developers, with the opportunity to propose and implement innovative solutions that directly impact our integrations and overall platform.
This role is opened to candidates who are currently based in Germany only.
In your first 3 months you will
- Develop a strong understanding of our product, infrastructure, and integration processes.
- Collaborate within an agile team to build new integrations and deliver new features.
- Optimize existing integrations and leverage AI to develop new ones efficiently.
In your first 6 months and beyond you will:
- Become proficient in the Symfony framework and write clean, SOLID-compliant code
- Efficiently integrate and optimize various APIs, leveraging their full potential.
- Handle and process millions of data records with confidence.
- Play a key role in the team's success by contributing high-quality solutions.
What you bring to the team:
- 2-3+ years professional experience as a PHP developer
- A data-driven approach and passion for measuring and optimizing
- Thorough knowledge of SOLID principles and TDD
- Very good knowledge of common PHP frameworks, Symfony or similar
- Experience with Linux and long-running PHP command line (CLI) applications
- Extended knowledge in MySQL and SQLite
- Experience with Docker and Dockerized applications
- Self-driven, structured, proactive and responsible
- Clear and concise communicator with a customer-centric approach
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
