Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Airbyte (self-hosted or Cloud).
- Build reliable and scalable ETL processes and data workflows.
- Work closely with engineering and data teams to integrate data from systems such as Salesforce, Jira, and Notion.
- Implement and maintain access control models (ACL, RBAC) to ensure data security.
- Design APIs and support microservices-based architecture for data integration.
- Optimize SQL queries and support backend services written in Node.js.
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer or Data Engineer.
- Proficiency in Node.js and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Airbyte, building and maintaining connectors.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data normalization, and workflow orchestration.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and scalable backend systems.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems like Salesforce, Jira, Notion, etc.
- Knowledge of access control models such as ACL or RBAC.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with other data integration tools (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, or Apache Airflow).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Background in data governance or real-time data streaming solutions.
