About the Role:
As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and optimising critical API systems. You’ll work closely with the product manager, engineering manager and other engineers to build new features, enhance performance, and ensure the reliability of our API platform. Your contributions will provide direct customer feedback opportunities and allow you to see the impact of your work firsthand, helping shape a better experience for our users.

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services, ensuring scalability and performance.

Collaborate with product teams to design and implement new features.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems.

Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster team growth.

Troubleshoot and fix prioritized issues in our platform.

Ensure code quality through testing and best practices.

Improve our observability systems to help find potential problems before they impact our customers.
Your Qualifications:

Strong experience with PHP (5+ years) and frameworks like Laravel and Yii.

Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

Proficiency in API paradigms and tools like REST, OpenAPI, JsonAPI, OAuth.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently.

Passion for collaboration, clean code, and continuous learning.
