Job Title: Back-End Developer (All Levels) | For Pooling

Location: Accenture Malaysia & Client Office

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are building a talent pool of skilled Back-End Developers to support various projects across different industries. Ideal candidates should have expertise in server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, Go, and database management. Applicants will be considered for multiple opportunities and may be reprofiled to other open positions that align with their skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Back-End Development & Implementation:

• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications.

• Design and maintain APIs, microservices, and web services.

• Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and security best practices.

• Optimize server-side logic for performance and scalability.

2. API Development & Integration:

• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless front-end integration.

• Work with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, API keys).

• Implement third-party API integrations for payments, messaging, and external services.

3. Database Management & Optimization:

• Design, implement, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies.

• Ensure database security, backup, and recovery processes.

4. Cloud & DevOps:

• Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments.

5. Security & Performance Optimization:

• Implement security best practices such as encryption, authentication, and access control.

• Perform load testing, monitoring, and debugging for system performance.

• Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities through penetration testing and audits.

6. Collaboration & Agile Development:

• Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps teams, and product managers.

• Participate in Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Conduct code reviews, write documentation, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: Minimum 2-10+ years of back-end development experience (varies by role level).

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more back-end languages (Node.js, Python, Java, .NET, Go, etc.).

• Database Management: Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).

• API Development: Experience in building and securing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certified Cloud Practitioner (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar DevOps certifications.

• Security certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or relevant cloud security credentials.
